Working Toward Becoming a Therapist?

Individuals who work for Serenity Mental Health Services are provided with on-site supervision. The most valuable part of your pre-licensure experience is having the proper guidance to assist you in the care you provide to your clients. However, finding a supervisor to oversee you until you're licensed isn't always easy. That's why Serenity Mental Health Services offers counseling supervision services at both of our locations. We allow internships at the masters clinical-level for those who are in their final internships and working towards becoming a mental health therapist. We are not able to provide supervision for bachelors-level or entry level masters students at this time.

We'll supervise you during sessions throughout your internship and provide ongoing post-grad supervision as you work towards full licensure. Jacqui Theisen is a Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy (MN BBHT) approved supervisor and can provide LPCC supervision for individuals working towards licensure. Kelly Hildre is an MN Board of Social Work (MN BSW) approved supervisor and can provide supervision for LICSW-bound individuals, and most other licensures. Contact us today to see if we meet your board supervision requirements.
